It is reported that Wuwei Jinan Special Steel has started its construction of stainless steel alloy billet and stainless steel wire rod plant in Wuwei New Energy Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park. It is known that the total investment for building the plant is around CNY 110 million and the construction period will last two years.Once the plant is completed, the production of 201 series to 304 series stainless steel round billet is expected to reach 200,000 tonnes and that of alloy steel billet is estimated to reach 50,000 tonnes and that for cold rolled stainless steel wire rod with diameter of 6mm to 10mm would be at around 50,00 tonnes.
